Balletschool Marut Jorquera, Spotlight School of Dance from England and the Samadhi Dance Company are proud to present the first edition of a 5-days unique intensive consisting of exclusive workshops and unforgettable dance classes! Students of the UK dance school ‘Spotlight School of Dance’, Balletschool Marut Jorquera and new students will have the opportunity to follow unique classes in the genres classical ballet, pointes, contemporary dance, ‘Samadhi’ -style, lyrical jazz, lyrical hip-hop and lyrical break-dance taught by an expert group of dance teachers from both The Netherlands and England! The schedule will also include short specialized classes such as stretching, technique, work-out and postural classes where participants will have the opportunity to explore their own possibilities and potential skills plus learn more about the various aspects and tricks of the trade.
The Lyrical Summer Dance Intensive is for participants from the age of 9 up to 25 and every group will consist of max 10 students in order to give all participants the necessary space and attention. There will be two to four classes a day and all classes will be taught in English.
The Samadhi Dance Company will close off the program on August 11 with a special presentation for family and friends displaying both the results of a week of work with the participants as well as a free performance of the professional dance production ‘Mohini’.
